A House with a Story
Few places in Finnish Lapland have welcomed people for as many different reasons as this manor.
Built in 1954 as the village school of Virkkula, it later became a cherished retreat and training venue for Finnair, Finland's national airline, for almost five decades.
Today, the manor has been thoughtfully restored as House of Northern Senses — a place where guests from around the world gather to experience authentic Finnish hospitality, nature, wellbeing and meaningful moments together.
