Under the white nights
In early summer, the northern white nights give the celebration an unusually long, luminous evening. The lakeside garden, terrace and indoor spaces can be combined with a separately arranged marquee. Picture a garden ceremony, dinner with your guests and time outdoors as the evening light lingers.
Surrounded by autumn colours
Autumn brings rich colours to the forest and darker evenings to the lake. Known in Finland as ruska, this seasonal transformation creates a beautiful setting for warm interiors, candlelit dining and time in the sauna. The colours follow nature’s own timing.
In the stillness of winter
A snowy lakeside landscape and soft northern light frame a celebration held mainly indoors. Dinner, dancing and the bar come together under one roof, with time to step outside and enjoy the winter setting. We plan outdoor moments and weather alternatives around your guests and wishes.

01 · ARRIVAL DAY
A warm welcome
Settle in with your closest guests, begin the preparations and make time for each other. Choose a welcome dinner or outdoor barbecue, a sauna evening and relaxed celebrations before the big day. If you would like a nature activity, arrival afternoon can be a good time to include it.
02 · WEDDING DAY
Your day, your rhythm
Breakfast, an optional morning sauna and time to get ready. After lunch, your ceremony and celebrations follow the programme we have planned together: sparkling wine, canapés, a wedding dinner, cake, dancing and late-night food.
03 · DEPARTURE DAY
One more shared moment
Gather your closest guests and anyone else you invite for a farewell brunch. Share the stories of the day before and enjoy a gentle start before the journey home.
An example itinerary to shape together. Services, timings and the days of exclusive use are agreed in your proposal. A third night gives you more time for activities or a longer stay.

The dining room seats 50 guests for a wedding meal, or up to 60 with special table arrangements. The lounge can host the buffet. Once coffee and the cake ceremony are complete and the serving tables have been cleared, it becomes the setting for dancing, a DJ or live performance, and the bar.
In summer, indoor spaces can be combined with the garden and a marquee. Larger celebrations, including weddings with over 100 guests, may be possible with additional marquees and individually planned arrangements. Marquees are priced separately.
A private space for the two of you
The house has 16 standard beds across eight bedrooms. Additional beds and room allocation are planned around your group. For the couple, we recommend the Family Suite, with two bedrooms and space for dressing, hair and make-up, and a quiet moment together. Its bedrooms share a bathroom. A Superior Double room is another option. Additional accommodation and transfers can be arranged separately.
PERSONAL HOSPITALITY
Hospitality and northern light
A generous buffet, sharing dishes served to each table or a plated wedding menu: we will find the dining style that suits your celebration. Drinks and bar service are planned alongside it.
Our Modern SPA sauna with indoor pool, wood-heated lakeside sauna and traditional smoke sauna bring Finnish sauna culture into your shared stay. By agreement, we can also arrange flowers, styling, photography, transport and music with our partners.
We welcome your own wedding planner, coordinator or designer and work with them to agree responsibilities and bring your ideas to life. Music and celebration timings are planned flexibly; your evening can continue into the early hours.

Yes. The entire property is reserved for one party. We agree the days of exclusive use, arrival, preparations and departure in your proposal.

The dining room seats 50 guests, or up to 60 with special table arrangements. We recommend 50–60 guests for winter weddings and 60–80 for summer celebrations. Larger summer weddings, including events with over 100 guests, are planned individually with additional marquees and suitable arrangements. Marquees are priced separately.

Absolutely. We are happy to collaborate with your wedding planner, coordinator, designer or other chosen partner. Together we agree the division of work, contacts and responsibilities so that planning and the wedding day run smoothly.

We agree which arrangements you would like to handle and which you would like us to coordinate. By agreement, we can arrange styling, flowers, photography, transfers, a wedding car and music through our partners. The agreed services and responsibilities are confirmed in writing.

All indoor spaces, including the sauna facilities, are licensed premises. Guests may not bring their own alcoholic drinks for consumption indoors. We will plan drinks and bar service with you.

Yes. Our peaceful setting allows a flexible celebration schedule. We agree the timings for indoor and outdoor music, the evening programme and service when planning your wedding.

We plan alternatives for outdoor elements according to the season, guest numbers and event design. Before the wedding, we agree how the ceremony, dining and programme will be adapted in unusually poor weather.

Your booking is confirmed once the final proposal and terms have been accepted in writing and a 10% reservation payment has been paid. This is deducted from the total price. A further 45% is due 30 days before the wedding and the final 45% 14 days before. Consumption-based items and agreed additions are invoiced after the event, with 14 days to pay. Full cancellation and amendment terms are provided before confirmation.

Yes. We work in English and Finnish and can begin with a video call. We can also help plan additional accommodation and transfers for your guests. Tell us about your wishes for the ceremony so we can agree the practical arrangements.

We are in Ruka–Kuusamo, northern Finland. Kuusamo Airport is the local airport. Tell us where you and your guests will be travelling from, and we can discuss transfers and additional accommodation as part of the proposal.
