Environmental Responsibility

  • Energy efficiency was integrated into planning for future accommodation expansion and renovation projects.

  • Nature-based activities were offered to nearly all guest groups throughout the year.

  • Guests were encouraged to explore local walking routes, forests and lakeside environments.

Social Responsibility

  • Sustainability communication was strengthened towards guests and stakeholders.

  • Local history, culture and traditions were integrated into guest experiences.

  • Cooperation with local suppliers and service providers was actively increased.

  • Staff and partner sustainability training plans were developed.

Community Engagement

  • House of Northern Senses hosted community events bringing together local residents and visitors.

  • Cultural and music events attracted more than 200 participants during 2025.
